The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Migration and Refugee Services (USCCB/MRS) has partnered with The Catholic University of America to develop an educational website, U.S. Catholic Bishops and Immigration, that highlights the significant role that the U.S. Catholic bishops and the institutional Church in the United States have played on immigration related issues, especially since the early twentieth century.
The new website is part of The American Catholic History Classroom which is a continuously-updated document site featuring a range of materials related to the American Catholic experience. Aimed at both educators and researchers, the Classroom showcases six fully-developed websites on a range of topics that can be fit into existing curricula.
